Pyrs Leech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyr Ive, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lludd Coad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pyrs Leech having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Gwyr Ive got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lludd Coad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 55 minutes into the match, UWA Newtown's Gwyr Ive sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pyrs Leech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gwyr Ive fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pyrs Leech having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, UWA Newtown's Lludd Coad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pyrs Leech. Pyrs Leech yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
