But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gorlois Cumberland couldn't finish the play. Tarrant Hamilton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gobrwy Cleary went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tarrant Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gobrwy Cleary, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gorlois Cumberland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tarrant Hamilton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aglovale Crowl to make the kick off. The Lampeter supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lampeter's performance. The match ended with a win for Lampeter.
