Ceithin Eaton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyglet Victualer having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Ely's Gwalchmei Jarvis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gwyglet Victualer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Morthwyl Hubert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morthwyl Hubert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gwyglet Victualer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyglet Garth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Evrei Lake was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ely the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Wales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evrei Lake to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Modred Farley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ely's supporters rose to their feet, but Modred Farley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwyglet Victualer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Colwyn Gately had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. 32 minutes into the game, Gwyglet Garth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ely's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wales FC the free kick. In the 35th minute Modred Farley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwyglet Victualer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Modred Farley sped through Wales FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gwyglet Victualer. Gwyglet Victualer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modred Farley, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Gwyglet Victualer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modred Farley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Wales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Modred Farley came free, but Gwyglet Victualer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The excitement rose when Ely's Modred Farley after 47 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Wales FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-4. The Wales FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ely were winning 0-4.

Modred Farley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwyglet Victualer having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modred Farley in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gwyglet Victualer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gwyglet Victualer had great luck who in the 58thth minute grab hold of the ball when Modred Farley from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Wales FC's Cerwyn Durham got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ceithin Eaton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 67 minutes, Modred Farley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ely's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modred Farley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Wales FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ceithin Eaton fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A hard shot 71 in the game by Modred Farley from a close distance when the talented Gwyglet Victualer managed to make a qualified save. Wales FC's players were relieved. Gwyglet Victualer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modred Farley's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 75 played minutes Ely got a freekick which was hit by Gwyglet Garth. In the 77th match minute, Ely was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gwalchmei Jarvis to maneuver through the defense. Gwyglet Victualer made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gwalchmei Jarvis sent off a good shot on target. Modred Farley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gwyglet Victualer having to make a save. Wales FC's Gwyglet Victualer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Wales FC from getting a goal against them.
