Dylan Long came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wales FC's Cerwyn Durham. But to his dismay, Cerwyn Durham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dylan Long showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cerwyn Durham, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Sinnoch Graham's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Gwyglet Victualer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rhyawdd Birkbeck's late challenge caught a Caerleon Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rhyawdd Birkbeck helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wales FC's Rhyawdd Birkbeck got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A hard shot 25 in the game by Sinnoch Graham from a close distance when the talented Gwyglet Victualer managed to make a qualified save. Wales FC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Caerleon Utd's Taffy Eye got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Morthwyl Hubert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dylan Long tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Cerwyn Durham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cerwyn Durham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Caerleon Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Morthwyl Hubert came free, but Dylan Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Morthwyl Hubert in the 42nd minute of play forced Caerleon Utd's goalkeeper Dylan Long to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dylan Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morthwyl Hubert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cerwyn Durham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Digon Eccles stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cerwyn Durham recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cerwyn Durham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baddon Carr fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caerleon Utd's protests and gave Baddon Carr a yellow card for diving instead. Baddon Carr hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Dylan Long made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cerwyn Durham sent off a good shot on target. Dylan Long showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morthwyl Hubert, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Cerwyn Durham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wales FC's Morthwyl Hubert got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cerwyn Durham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Dylan Long made a huge save. Dylan Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morthwyl Hubert in the 76th minute of play. If Cerwyn Durham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylan Long showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morthwyl Hubert in the 94th minute of the match. Cerwyn Durham struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dylan Long didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wales FC. In the 97th minute Morthwyl Hubert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Long saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
