Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hirwaun FC's Ol Cotterell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Blathaon Finn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kynon Colville having to interfere. Blathaon Finn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kynon Colville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caerwyn Felix's late challenge caught a UWA Denbigh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caerwyn Felix helped the player get up and apologised. Caerwyn Felix hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Berth Spinster notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hirwaun FC's Kynon Colville. Kynon Colville was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Lludd Hanson fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Denbigh's protests and gave Lludd Hanson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, UWA Denbigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lludd Hanson to maneuver through the defense. Ol Cotterell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Moesen Breslin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ol Cotterell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Blathaon Finn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berth Spinster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kynon Colville tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kynon Colville came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Denbigh's Blathaon Finn. But to his dismay, Blathaon Finn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. UWA Denbigh's Moesen Breslin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save UWA Denbigh from getting a goal against them. Ol Cotterell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Berth Spinster took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kynon Colville. Kynon Colville dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute Ol Cotterell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moesen Breslin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Hirwaun FC's Ol Cotterell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Moesen Breslin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, UWA Denbigh's goal looked a bit too open when Cadman Tapley came free, but Moesen Breslin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moesen Breslin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cadman Tapley in the 65th minute of play. Ol Cotterell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kynon Colville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blathaon Finn in the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of UWA Denbigh booed when Hirwaun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caerwyn Felix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caerwyn Felix got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 81st minute, Caerwyn Felix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. UWA Denbigh's Gwythyr Gamble couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hirwaun FC. Berth Spinster might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kynon Colville. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berth Spinster ran back to his position shaking his head. Berth Spinster was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. UWA Denbigh's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Berth Spinster who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Kynon Colville when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 98th minute, Cadman Tapley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UWA Denbigh's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
