Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olwydd Albert kicked off to start the match. When Tomos Flannery came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the UWA Flint fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomos Flannery couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomos Flannery in the 7th minute of play forced Newtown Utd's goalkeeper Sior Beale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Newtown Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 9th minute, when Tomos Flannery scored to the left of an out of position Sior Beale, making the score, 1-0. Newtown Utd's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Tomos Flannery scored to the left of an out of position Sior Beale, making the score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Taffy Kennett during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Newtown Utd's Taffy Kennett got a free kick in the 20th minute. Newtown Utd's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tomos Flannery 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. In the 24th minute, Selyf Herring ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gruffen Chapman was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Sior Beale came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by UWA Flint's Tomos Flannery. But to his dismay, Tomos Flannery quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Sayer Hird fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UWA Flint's protests and gave Sayer Hird a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Newtown Utd booed when UWA Flint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sayer Hird didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56th play minutes Selyf Herring shot 5-2, a short shot which went by Gruffen Chapman and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomos Flannery in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sior Beale saved Newtown Utd from getting behind. Kilydd Gearan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sior Beale having to interfere. Sior Beale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomos Flannery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomos Flannery in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sior Beale saved Newtown Utd from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Newtown Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Tomos Flannery came free, but Sior Beale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Selyf Herring managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newtown Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selyf Herring was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomos Kelly hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Selyf Herring blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gruffen Chapman having to make a save. Nerthach Giggs charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nerthach Giggs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Newtown Utd booed when UWA Flint was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nerthach Giggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sior Beale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomos Flannery, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute.
