Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robert McGugan started the match with the kick off. Danny McIlwhom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Innes McCloy in the 13th minute of play forced Alva's goalkeeper Anthony McFarlane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Innes McCloy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Jay McLachlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Danny McIlwhom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Robert McGugan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthony McFarlane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben McVurich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Carstarphen in the 52nd minute of the match. Ben McVurich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cumming in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th minute Norman Masterson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben McVurich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbie Carstarphen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ben McVurich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes Alva got a freekick which was hit by Danny McIlwhom. In the 81st minute of the match Declan Elder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthony McFarlane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Jay McLachlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Raymond Carrick from long distance, 86 minutes into the match, got Anthony McFarlane's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paisley walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
