Max Georgeson started the match with the kick off. Max Georgeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Caw having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Max Georgeson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calum McKinley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Caw having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Irvin McKay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Henry Lang, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irvin McKay in the 20th minute of play forced Dunkeld AFC's goalkeeper Henry Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calum McKinley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Dunkeld AFC's zone, Irvin McKay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Lang came out of the goal and Irvin McKay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Dunkeld AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Irvin McKay came free, but Henry Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 minutes, Max Georgeson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tranent City's Drew Caw tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Drew Caw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Georgeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Max Georgeson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irvin McKay made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Dunkeld AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Irvin McKay came free, but Henry Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 55 in the game by Calum McKinley from a close distance when the talented Drew Caw managed to make a qualified save. Tranent City's players were relieved. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tranent City's goalkeeper Drew Caw, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Calum McKinley might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Drew Caw. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Calum McKinley ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute, Irvin McKay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henry Lang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Irvin McKay in the 68th minute of the match. Drew Caw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Georgeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. With an all-out effort, Dunkeld AFC's Drew Caw threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Max Georgeson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 78 minutes into the game, Max Georgeson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Drew Caw. Max Georgeson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. If Max Georgeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Dunkeld AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Simson came free, but Henry Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frankie Booth kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Calum McKinley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dunkeld AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Calum McKinley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Drew Caw breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dunkeld AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
