Innes McKeith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angus Hay in the 5th minute of the match. Aidan McLergain struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Innes McKeith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blairgowrie. Aidan McLergain scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Innes McKeith, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronald McKean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Wally McKissock made a huge save. Aidan McLergain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angus Hay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Innes McKeith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Blairgowrie's zone, Ronald McKean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wally McKissock came out of the goal and Ronald McKean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, Steven Kean was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brora FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blairgowrie the free kick. The supporters of Blairgowrie booed when Brora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Kean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aidan McLergain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th match minute, Brora FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis McNeilly to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Aidan McLergain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blairgowrie's supporters rose to their feet, but Aidan McLergain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Innes McKeith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Innes McKeith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angus Hay in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aidan McLergain in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Innes McKeith saved Brora FC from getting behind. Brora FC's Innes McKeith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aidan McLergain in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Blairgowrie's Aidan McLergain nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Innes McKeith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

Aidan McLergain scored 0-3 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Innes McKeith, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lloyd Cullen kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Aidan McLergain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blairgowrie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aidan McLergain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angus Hay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Alex Lawson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmond McNuyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Aidan McLergain could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Innes McKeith however easily saved by the left post. Aidan McLergain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innes McKeith having to interfere. Ronald McKean struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Wally McKissock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brora FC. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brora FC's goalkeeper Innes McKeith, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angus Hay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Innes McKeith having to interfere.
