Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Darren McAlister made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Petrie got free with Martin Robinson in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henry McMenzies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Robinson having to interfere. Gavin Scott hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Danny McIlriach hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ronan Bean was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 12th minute, Glasgow Bulldogs's Henry McMenzies ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Robinson. Martin Robinson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Petrie in the 20th minute of play forced Bathgate's goalkeeper Martin Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Gavin Scott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bathgate's Martin Robinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Bathgate from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Bathgate got a freekick which was hit by Lloyd McThomas. Martin Robinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry McMenzies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murray McCraw charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murray McCraw the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Glasgow Bulldogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murray McCraw to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Bathgate's Danny McIlriach shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reece Coultard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bathgate reached it. Martin Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry McMenzies in the 36th minute of the match. Steve Petrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Martin Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steve Petrie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Robinson having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Steve Petrie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glasgow Bulldogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Petrie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Steve Petrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Martin Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Reece Coultard, was totally fooled by Bathgate's Danny McIlriach, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Steve Petrie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Darren McAlister got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murray McCraw struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Martin Robinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glasgow Bulldogs. If Munro O'Shaig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 91 played minutes Glasgow Bulldogs got a freekick which was hit by Paddy Carter. Darren McAlister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reece Coultard having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
