Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vinny Frissell kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the game, Rob Howison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bishopton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Banff the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bishopton's Rob Howison got a free kick in the 7th minute. Colin McPhedran in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jason Davies, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinny Frissell in the 11th minute of play forced Bishopton's goalkeeper Jason Davies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Fraser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marc Wheelan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Kenny Fraser notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Banff's Marc Wheelan. Marc Wheelan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Kenny Fraser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bishopton's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenny Fraser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Wheelan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Banff's zone, Rob Howison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc Wheelan came out of the goal and Rob Howison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenny Fraser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Wheelan having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bishopton's zone, Vinny Frissell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Davies came out of the goal and Vinny Frissell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jason Davies was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Colin McPhedran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Colin McPhedran really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenny Fraser made a kick off. Colin McPhedran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinny Frissell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Davies having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Bishopton's goal looked a bit too open when Colin McPhedran came free, but Jason Davies reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinny Frissell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jason Davies tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny Fraser might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marc Wheelan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kenny Fraser ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Bishopton's zone, Colin McPhedran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Davies came out of the goal and Colin McPhedran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Banff's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Fraser came free, but Marc Wheelan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Banff's Colin McPhedran got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Banff booed when Bishopton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drew Blake didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenny Fraser's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Wheelan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Samuel McCrimmor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
