Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Liam McCluskie made the kick off which started today's match. After 5 minutes, Freddie Mennie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Element Zero and the Garve players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Freddie Mennie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Element Zero defense, Liam McCluskie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iain Sorely. The Element Zero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iain Sorely should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Element Zero's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Limont came free, but Iain Sorely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes, Paul Carlyle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Element Zero and the Garve players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paul Carlyle kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy McSorley in the 21st minute of play forced Garve's goalkeeper Benjamin McNab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Andy McSorley fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benjamin McNab, passed just outside the right post. Garve's Benjamin McNab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy McSorley in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Joshua McPhadden ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin McNab was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Gavin McKelloch charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavin McKelloch the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Garve was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavin McKelloch to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Joshua McPhadden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Element Zero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua McPhadden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iain Sorely stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rob Limont's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Rob Limont fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iain Sorely having to interfere. Rob Limont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Iain Sorely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Element Zero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy McSorley to maneuver through the defense. Element Zero's Iain Sorely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Limont in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes in the game, Joshua McPhadden dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joshua McPhadden made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Garve's Kevin McChruiter got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes Garve got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Denoon. Liam McCluskie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 60 played minutes Element Zero got a freekick which was hit by Andy McSorley. Iain Sorely didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 62nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. When Joshua McPhadden came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Element Zero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua McPhadden couldn't finish the play. Liam McCluskie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rob Limont scored 1-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iain Sorely, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joshua McPhadden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
