Tyler Watt didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Calum Gunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Findlater having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Benjamin Mein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drummore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Mein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Finlay Milroy during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Finlay Milroy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Gordon United. Stewart Hossack stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tyler Watt. 2-1. Finlay Boyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Tyler Watt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Drummore fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Drummore's Calum Gunn looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Calum Gunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Drummore's Calum Gunn in 86 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Duncan Findlater guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gus Ayres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drummore's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus Ayres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duncan Findlater breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calum Gunn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Duncan Findlater made a huge save. If Gus Ayres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Gordon United's Duncan Findlater got control of the ball when Calum Gunn tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Calum Gunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gordon United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Drummore had controlled the match.
