Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Greg McVean took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th match minute, Wolves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Forsyth to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Drummore's goal looked a bit too open when Greg McVean came free, but Tyler Watt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Greg McVean left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolves FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th minute Greg McVean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tyler Watt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruce Ayson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Gus Ayres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Drummore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolves FC the free kick. After 24 played minutes Drummore got a freekick which was hit by Gus Ayres. 27 minutes into the match, Bruce Ayson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tyler Watt. Drummore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruce Ayson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Greg McVean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tyler Watt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Forsyth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyler Watt having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Drummore's Benjamin Mein got a free kick in the 34th minute. Calum Gunn struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Derek Beresford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drummore. After having played for 43 minutes, Bruce Ayson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolves FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruce Ayson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Drummore's Tyler Watt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg McVean in the 45th minute of play. Greg McVean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tyler Watt having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keith Adams to strike the kick off in the second half. Greg McVean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyler Watt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Ayson in the 55th minute of play. With his leg Tyler Watt managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Wolves FC's Greg McVean fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tim McKeochan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tyler Watt having to make a save. Greg McVean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Ray McRob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greg McVean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Tyler Watt made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Bruce Ayson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wolves FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruce Ayson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyler Watt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Keith Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greg McVean struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Tyler Watt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wolves FC. Greg McVean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tyler Watt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, one of Wolves FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wolves FC. Jordan Cole shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Greg McVean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
