The tension between the Rogart and the Ace of Spades players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thomas Gillon hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 14th play minutes Nathan Connell shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Fraser Neil and just under the crossbar into goal. Nathan Connell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Rogart's Nigel Crozier in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd minute, Nathan Connell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fraser Neil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Reece Pollard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dougal Lang was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Nigel Crozier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fraser Neil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jack McNayer kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nigel Crozier was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Rogart booed when Ace of Spades was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Murray didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rogart's goalkeeper Dougal Lang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomas Gillon was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Rogart's Thomas Gillon got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Ace of Spades's Stephen Fleming nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dougal Lang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 64 minutes into the match, Ace of Spades's goalkeeper Fraser Neil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nathan Connell. Stephen Fleming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st match minute, Ace of Spades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reece Pollard to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Rogart's Terry McCanish got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Stephen Fleming fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ace of Spades's protests and gave Stephen Fleming a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes Ace of Spades got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Fleming. Stephen Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Dougal Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dougal Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Fleming, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathan Connell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fraser Neil having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Miles Knox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stephen Fleming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dougal Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephen Fleming, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rogart eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
