Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rui Pacheco got the match started through his kick off. If Rui Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pipa FC's zone, Filipe Amaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Tavares came out of the goal and Filipe Amaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Pacheco in the 9th minute of the match. SC Grimancelos's Filipe Amaro got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rui Pacheco came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the SC Grimancelos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Pacheco couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the game, Vicente Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pipa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Grimancelos the free kick. Vicente Fernandes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Pacheco in the 18th minute of play forced Pipa FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, SC Grimancelos's Rui Pacheco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 27 played minutes Pipa FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Oliveira. A collision led to Pipa FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vicente Fernandes hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Filipe Amaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Tavares was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With a left leg Eduardo Tavares saved Pipa FC from getting behind. Humberto Oliveira's late challenge caught a SC Grimancelos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Humberto Oliveira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Humberto Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Filipe Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Rui Pacheco was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. SC Grimancelos's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rui Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Assis having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Pipa FC's Cristiano Leiria made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Assis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filipe Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Tavares having to interfere. When Rui Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Pipa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Cristiano Leiria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Assis having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Pipa FC's Humberto Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Duarte Assis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Heitor Domingues's late challenge caught a Pipa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heitor Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. Oliveira Fernandes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duarte Assis. SC Grimancelos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The SC Grimancelos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
