Armando Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Oliveira Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nivaldo Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 12 minutes into the match, CS INDOMÁVEIS's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Soares came free, but Oliveira Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto da Rocha got free with Jairo Pimentel in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Sérgio Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Oliveira Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ponta Do Pargo's Sérgio Freire got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Nivaldo Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponta Do Pargo's supporters rose to their feet, but Nivaldo Madureira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliveira Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, CS INDOMÁVEIS's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Freire came free, but Oliveira Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, CS INDOMÁVEIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Soares to maneuver through the defense. Oliveira Soares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nivaldo Madureira's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. After a rather tough play, Ponta Do Pargo's Sabino Rodrigues got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 77th minute, Augusto da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, CS INDOMÁVEIS's goalkeeper Oliveira Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Freire. In the 86th match minute, Ponta Do Pargo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Soares to maneuver through the defense. After 89 minutes, Porfírio Benevides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponta Do Pargo and the CS INDOMÁVEIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ponta Do Pargo's Porfírio Benevides got a free kick in the 89th minute. Nivaldo Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Oliveira Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ponta Do Pargo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
