In the 37th minute, Bruno Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Humberto Barbosa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sérgio Bessa, 3-0. SC Infantes's Gabriel Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Abreu in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Jaime Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Borba in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Simões saved SC Infantes from getting behind. Gabriel Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Abreu's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 69th minute, Cláudio Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Infantes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. With his leg Gabriel Simões managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Bicuela's Miguel Borba fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Humberto Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sérgio Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cláudio Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Miguel Borba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bicuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Borba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Simões breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miguel Borba in the 96th minute.
