Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Hélio Castilho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Godinho struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Rafael Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Sambrana. Rodrigo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Rafael Assis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Esteves's late challenge caught a Pitaranha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodolfo Esteves helped the player get up and apologised. Vasco Correia hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Álvaro Aleixo charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Álvaro Aleixo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Álvaro Aleixo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Armando Godinho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. SC Sambrana's Daniel Pimenta shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rafael Assis but with some difficulty. In the 33rdth minute of the game Inácio Guerreiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Sambrana's Hélio Castilho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Inácio Guerreiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélio Castilho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Fernando Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Castilho having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Inácio Guerreiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Fernandes made the kick off in the second half. Armando Godinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SC Sambrana's Viriato Leme got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 62nd match minute, SC Sambrana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Dias to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Adolfo Fontes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Sambrana's Hélio Castilho didn't even have to move. In the 64th match minute, SC Sambrana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viriato Leme to maneuver through the defense. When Pitaranha FC's Inácio Guerreiro in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Sambrana's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Inácio Guerreiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hélio Castilho. That made the score 0-1 in the 69 minute of play. Inácio Guerreiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rodrigo Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pitaranha FC's Inácio Guerreiro got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Fernandes in the 87th minute of play forced Pitaranha FC's goalkeeper Rafael Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélio Castilho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The SC Sambrana supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pitaranha FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Pitaranha FC.
