Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Futebol Clube Viana booed when Arripiado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Lisboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Delgado having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Luís Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arripiado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arripiado's Fernando Guarda got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Futebol Clube Viana's Amílcar Delgado threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from António Lisboa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Arripiado's zone, André Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílcar Delgado came out of the goal and André Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 24 minutes, Fernando Guarda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arripiado and the Futebol Clube Viana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Arripiado got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Guarda. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Vieira in the 29th minute of play forced Futebol Clube Viana's goalkeeper Armindo Coimbra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílcar Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from António Lisboa in the 30th minute of play. Luís Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Armindo Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armindo Coimbra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Sérgio Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futebol Clube Viana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sérgio Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Cristóvão Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Armindo Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Fernando Guarda sent off a good shot on target. Arripiado's Amílcar Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by António Lisboa in the 62nd minute of play. António Lisboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Daniel Maia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arripiado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Futebol Clube Viana the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Luís Vieira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armindo Coimbra. That made the score 0-1 in the 70 minute of play. The long shot by Luís Vieira in the 75th minute really tested Armindo Coimbra's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Futebol Clube Viana's Pedro Miranda got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube Viana's goalkeeper Armindo Coimbra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Guarda. Luís Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. A long shot from Basílio Amorim in the 85th minute of play was well struck, but Armindo Coimbra made a really good save at the right post. Armindo Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Fernando Guarda sent off a good shot on target. Luís Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute.
