Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Mitau Cabuzz's Alexandrino Gusmão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, André Gaspar made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Mitau Cabuzz's Nuno Marinho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nuno Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Gaspar in the 12th minute of the match. If André Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. António Ventura hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mitau Cabuzz's zone, André Gaspar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Marinho came out of the goal and André Gaspar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Gaspar during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mitau Cabuzz booed when SC Vieiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alexandrino Gusmão came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Mitau Cabuzz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandrino Gusmão couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Serafim Tomé in the 34th minute really tested Paulo Cunha's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alexandre Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nuno Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 41 minutes, Manuel Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Vieiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half SC Vieiro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Gaspar was the one to do the kick off. If André Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexandre Matos struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Nuno Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Vieiro. In the 67th minute of the match, André Gaspar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuno Marinho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mitau Cabuzz's goalkeeper Nuno Marinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mitau Cabuzz's Nuno Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Gaspar in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Alexandre Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Vieiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandre Matos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Nuno Marinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Mitau Cabuzz's goal looked a bit too open when André Gaspar came free, but Nuno Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Matos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Nuno Marinho made a huge save. In the 79th match minute, Mitau Cabuzz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Ventura to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, André Gaspar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Vieiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but André Gaspar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Manuel Araújo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After recieving a nice pass, SC Vieiro's Alfredo Magalhães tried to score from far away in the 88th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Alexandrino Gusmão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
