The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Acosta got free with Viriato Pedroso in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 19th minute of the match Hélder Nogueira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hélder Nogueira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Nuno Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Luan Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Viriato Pedroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Folhense! When Miguel Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Folhense's protests and gave Miguel Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Folhense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. Alexandre Santarém struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Viriato Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paniceiro FC. 52 minutes into the match, Folhense's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Acosta came free, but Viriato Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luan Acosta in the 57th minute of play forced Folhense's goalkeeper Viriato Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Luan Acosta notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Folhense's Viriato Pedroso. Viriato Pedroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Henrique Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paniceiro FC fully deserved thier win.
