Alexandre Severiano made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Vasco Assis sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Gameiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, F.C.P.F's Paulo Franco got a free kick in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Reis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alexandre Severiano. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Luizeira's Jaime Simões got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to Luizeira getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alexandre Moniz hit a great ball. Vasco Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Luizeira fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Luizeira's Vasco Assis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 27th minute of the match Hilário Leme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Gomes skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of F.C.P.F booed when Luizeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Moniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Ferro charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Ferro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Humberto Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Rafael Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Severiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Danilo Amado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germano Gameiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jorge Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Luizeira's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Gameiro came free, but Jorge Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C.P.F's goalkeeper Alexandre Severiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Reis was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to F.C.P.F getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mateus Sabrosa hit a great ball. Jorge Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Gameiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 53 played minutes Luizeira got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Ferro. After 57 played minutes, F.C.P.F's Hilário Leme shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Gomes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F.C.P.F reached it. Rui Macedo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Germano Gameiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jorge Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Luizeira's Rafael Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexandre Severiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vasco Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Alexandre Severiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C.P.F's Alexandre Severiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Reis in the 79th minute of play. Danilo Amado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jorge Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Cristiano Vidigal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rafael Reis during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Luizeira got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Reis. A collision led to Luizeira getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tiago Luz hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Angélico Rangel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Luizeira's Jorge Gomes didn't even have to move. 93 minutes into the match, F.C.P.F's goal looked a bit too open when Vasco Assis came free, but Alexandre Severiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Jorge Antas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.P.F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luizeira the free kick. Jorge Antas hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Luizeira had won after a very even match.
