Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Duarte Brites made the kick off and thus started the match. If Isac Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Brites received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nuno Águas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, FC Frende's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Loureiro came free, but Cláudio Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Taboaco's Catarino Gusmão got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Catarino Gusmão came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the SC Taboaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Catarino Gusmão couldn't finish the play. Catarino Gusmão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Moreira having to interfere. Afonso Valentim kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jacob Loureiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cláudio Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacob Loureiro ran back to his position shaking his head. After 63 played minutes FC Frende got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Brites. Sálvio Candal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nuno Águas. SC Taboaco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cláudio Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacob Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The supporters of SC Taboaco booed when FC Frende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Madeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Taboaco's zone, Duarte Brites stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuno Águas came out of the goal and Duarte Brites tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Frende's Isac Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, SC Taboaco's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Brites came free, but Nuno Águas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Águas stood somewhat misplaced when Duarte Brites came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 94 minute. The FC Frende players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
