Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Albertino Borba made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jarbas Diegues during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jarbas Diegues kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Albertino Borba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesário Carvalhal came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Mafra's Mário Amaro. But to his dismay, Mário Amaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 15thth minute of the game Albertino Borba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caparica FC's Cesário Carvalhal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albertino Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesário Carvalhal having to interfere. Caparica FC's Silvério Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amável Rangel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ricardo Dantas made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Silvério Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caparica FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvério Nunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Ricardo Dantas managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Caparica FC's Amável Rangel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mafra's Albertino Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cesário Carvalhal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Amaro in the 35th minute of the match. Mário Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Mário Amaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Dantas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Nunes in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvério Nunes to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Mafra's Albertino Borba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesário Carvalhal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Caparica FC's Amável Rangel in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mafra's goalie prevented a goal. Mário Amaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cesário Carvalhal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Caparica FC booed when Mafra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amável Rangel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertino Borba in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesário Carvalhal saved Caparica FC from getting behind. 84 minutes into the match, Mafra's goal looked a bit too open when Silvério Nunes came free, but Ricardo Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Santarém kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Mário Amaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
