Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Armando Pereira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Romarigaes FC's zone, Amável Rangel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Carneiro came out of the goal and Amável Rangel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Pereira in the 10th minute of play forced Caparica FC's goalkeeper Cesário Carvalhal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Armando Pereira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cesário Carvalhal was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Cesário Carvalhal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Pereira's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Pedro Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amável Rangel, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sebastião Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Jordão Mendes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes, Sebastião Brito made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Caparica FC's Cesário Carvalhal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Amável Rangel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Carneiro having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Romarigaes FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Faria. Cesário Carvalhal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastião Brito in the 39th minute. Cesário Carvalhal made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Sebastião Brito sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Silvério Nunes made the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cesário Carvalhal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastião Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. Paulo Mendes hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th match minute, Romarigaes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Faria to maneuver through the defense. Armando Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Armando Pereira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caparica FC's Cesário Carvalhal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Armando Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesário Carvalhal having to interfere. Silvério Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvério Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Carneiro having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Amável Rangel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caparica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amável Rangel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armando Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cesário Carvalhal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Carneiro stood somewhat misplaced when Silvério Nunes came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 97 minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
