Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacob Trigueiro got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Valentim Pestana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Madeira S.A.D. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Trigueiro in the 11th minute of play forced Madeira S.A.D.'s goalkeeper Abílio Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Valentim Pestana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Nascimento. Badim FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentim Pestana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Valentim Pestana struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Daniel Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madeira S.A.D.. If Donato Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Jacob Trigueiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abílio Fernandes. Madeira S.A.D.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacob Trigueiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Flávio Osório managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madeira S.A.D.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Osório was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Badim FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Osório came free, but Daniel Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Nascimento came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Madeira S.A.D.'s Flávio Osório. But to his dismay, Flávio Osório quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flávio Osório to make the kick off. Flávio Osório received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Daniel Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentim Pestana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentim Pestana in the 63rd minute of play. Madeira S.A.D.'s Abílio Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Madeira S.A.D. from getting a goal against them. Abílio Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Trigueiro in the 69th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Valentim Pestana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flávio Osório sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Madeira S.A.D.'s Abílio Fernandes got control of the ball when Donato Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 87th play minutes Valentim Pestana shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Daniel Nascimento and just under the crossbar into goal. 93 minutes into the match, Valentim Pestana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Nascimento. Badim FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentim Pestana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Madeira S.A.D. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
