Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rui Quintela took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elias Sardinha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Aleixo went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 7 minutes, Mário Brito made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Trandeiras FC's Elias Sardinha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Trandeiras FC's zone, Manuel Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Sardinha came out of the goal and Manuel Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mário Brito in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Sardinha saved Trandeiras FC from getting behind. Homero Carvalhal hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Mário Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Elias Sardinha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Trandeiras FC's zone, Pedro Guarda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Sardinha came out of the goal and Pedro Guarda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes, Mário Brito made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Trandeiras FC's Elias Sardinha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mário Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leal Leitão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Miguel Setúbal made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Miguel Setúbal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Manuel Magalhães might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Sardinha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Magalhães ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 35 minutes, Mário Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Varejeira 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Trandeiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Brito came free, but Elias Sardinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Varejeira were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Trandeiras FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artur Aleixo took the corner. The corner led Varejeira 's Artur Aleixo to fire away a dangerous shot which Elias Sardinha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Elias Sardinha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Brito in the 41st minute of the match. Varejeira 's Pedro Guarda got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trandeiras FC's Elias Sardinha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Brito in the 44th minute of play.

The wind increased when Mário Brito made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Leal Leitão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mário Brito got free with Elias Sardinha in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Guarda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Sardinha having to interfere. Mário Brito succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 58th playminute. Elias Sardinha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Tavares in the 63rd minute of the match. Trandeiras FC's Elias Sardinha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Brito in the 67th minute of play. Miguel Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Quintela in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Trandeiras FC's Leal Leitão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miguel Setúbal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 73 played minutes Varejeira got a freekick which was hit by Cristiano Martins. Elias Sardinha came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Varejeira 's Mário Brito. But to his dismay, Mário Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 83rd match minute, Varejeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Martins to maneuver through the defense. Mário Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Elias Sardinha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Sardinha made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Mário Brito sent off a good shot on target. Varejeira 's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
