Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuel Monsanto got the match started through his kick off. José Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Torcato Liberato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gibraltar's Júlio Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, Emanuel Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Almiro Brás showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute.
In the 55th minute, Gastão Bessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gibraltar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Samuel Monsanto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Almiro Brás made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Lopes in the 70th minute of play. SC Tardariz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gastão Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
