Vítor lacerda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Brochado in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim Torres in the 16th minute of play forced Espantar F.C.'s goalkeeper Márcio Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Brochado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delfim Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Márcio Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Sarnache FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Brochado came free, but Vítor lacerda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jordão Madeira kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Jairo Ramires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Márcio Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Espantar F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarnache FC the free kick. The supporters of Sarnache FC booed when Espantar F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipólito Malheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Espantar F.C.'s zone, Óscar Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Márcio Palma came out of the goal and Óscar Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Brochado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the last second Márcio Palma throw himself and got hold of the ball when Óscar Aguiar in the 58thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Sarnache FC's zone, Jairo Ramires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor lacerda came out of the goal and Jairo Ramires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th match minute, Sarnache FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Torres to maneuver through the defense. Sarnache FC's Vítor lacerda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Brochado in the 69th minute of play. Vítor lacerda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Ramires in the 71st minute of play. Jairo Ramires scored 2-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vítor lacerda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Espantar F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sarnache FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
