Rodrigo Oliveira succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, André Campos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barata's supporters rose to their feet, but André Campos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Coimbra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Jacinto Mota hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Machado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rui Borges. Barata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joel Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rui Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Porto in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Barata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diogo Matos to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Coimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastião Machado in the 32nd minute of the match. Joel Porto took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rui Borges. Rui Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 39th minute, SC Passarela's Joel Porto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 46th match minute, Barata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Mota to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Rodrigo Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Passarela's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 53 minutes into the game, André Campos lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Alfredo Coimbra. After a rather tough play, Barata's Carlos Borges got a free kick in the 57th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Gueifão during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66thth minute of the game Rogério Porto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barata's Rui Borges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Barata's Rui Borges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Oliveira in the 67th minute of play. When Sebastião Machado came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Barata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastião Machado couldn't finish the play. In the 74th match minute, SC Passarela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Porto to maneuver through the defense. If André Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Borges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes, André Mota mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Passarela and the Barata players grew even worse after the yellow card. Barata's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiago Alves in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Passarela's zone, Sebastião Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Coimbra came out of the goal and Sebastião Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Porto scored 5-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Barata's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
