Raul Poças charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Poças the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Raul Poças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermínio Cerqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Lima in the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Carlos Lima made a precise shot to the right of Hermínio Cerqueira. Lamacais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Heitor Nascimento made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 11thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Hermínio Cerqueira would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Lamacais's Hermínio Cerqueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Lamacais from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes, Aldo Moura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lamacais and the Frieira F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lamacais fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Hermínio Cerqueira, was totally fooled by Frieira F.C.'s Gil Gueifão, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 20 minutes of play, Frieira F.C.'s Heitor Nascimento made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermínio Cerqueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Lamacais's André Moniz got a free kick in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Lamacais's Hildeberto Neves got a free kick in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Lamacais's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Lima came free, but Hermínio Cerqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Carlos Lima dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hermínio Cerqueira, 4-0. After 39 played minutes Frieira F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Iosu Torres. Aldo Moura took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viriato Moreira. Frieira F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lamacais's zone, Heitor Nascimento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermínio Cerqueira came out of the goal and Heitor Nascimento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Lima kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hermínio Cerqueira. That made the score 5-0 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heitor Nascimento to make the kick off. If Heitor Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Carlos Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermínio Cerqueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heitor Nascimento in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermínio Cerqueira saved Lamacais from getting behind. Hermínio Cerqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Lima went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Carlos Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Cerqueira having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Heitor Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frieira F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Heitor Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio Cerqueira having to interfere. Hermínio Cerqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Heitor Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 89th minute of the match Aldo Moura completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aldo Moura a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Carlos Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hermínio Cerqueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frieira F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
