After some careless play in the SC Redondelo defense, Adolfo Lima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fábio Andrade. The SC Redondelo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fábio Andrade should have stopped the shot. In the 22ndth minute of the game Delfim Trindade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urqueira FC's Joaquim Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Francisco Tavares sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Redondelo's Fábio Andrade didn't even have to move. Joaquim Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urqueira FC's Joaquim Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Trindade in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Domingos Resende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, SC Redondelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Resende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fábio Andrade having to make a save. Delfim Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Mota having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the match SC Redondelo got a corner. Urqueira FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vasco Freitas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Domingos Resende made the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Delfim Trindade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urqueira FC's Joaquim Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. SC Redondelo's Delfim Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 1-2 became the score in the 84th minute when Delfim Trindade elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 89th minute, José Cunha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joaquim Mota, passed just outside the right post. 91 minutes into the game, SC Redondelo's José Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquim Mota made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Adolfo Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fábio Andrade having to interfere. The Urqueira FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SC Redondelo's performance. The match ended with a win for SC Redondelo.
