If Diogo Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 played minutes, C.D.Cinfães's Jaime Pedroso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emanuel Branco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.D.Cinfães reached it. In the 15th minute, Daniel Pedroso made a precise shot to the right of Hélder Santos. C.D.Cinfães's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Jesus Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Ribeiro in the 22nd minute of play forced C.D.Cinfães's goalkeeper Hélder Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Önder Berat put in a rough tackle. Önder Berat kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Taboa's Diogo Ribeiro tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emílio Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emílio Rocha hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Emanuel Branco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Fero in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the C.D.Cinfães defense, Hugo Aleixo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Santos. The C.D.Cinfães fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Santos should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in C.D.Cinfães's zone, Hugo Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Santos came out of the goal and Hugo Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Aleixo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taboa's attentive Sérgio Leal managed to snatch the ball when Simão Ramos made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. In the 53rd minute Daniel Pedroso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Matos took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Branco. Emanuel Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 59th minute, Gabriel Leiria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hélder Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Ribeiro in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute Angel Fero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.D.Cinfães's Melquiades Ariando suffered a sore thigh after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Daniel Pedroso charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Pedroso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélder Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Caitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Branco was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. With a little luck, Taboa's Emanuel Branco got control of the ball when Cristiano Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taboa's Emanuel Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Taboa from getting a goal against them. Hugo Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hélder Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
