Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as Albertino Teixeira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Filipe Gomes. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, João Amaro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mafamude's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Seixal the free kick. João Amaro kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Albertino Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Gomes having to interfere. Duarte Amaral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Mafamude was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Aleixo to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Amaral scored 2-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filipe Gomes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Seixal's Luís Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Moreira in the 29th minute of play. Armando Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Ribeiro having to interfere. In the 33rd minute of the match António Alves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filipe Gomes skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Mafamude booed when SC Seixal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandre Lisboa missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 37 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Luís Ribeiro right hand side. Luís Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mafamude's Armando Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonçalo Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Seixal's zone, Armando Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Ribeiro came out of the goal and Armando Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Ferreira hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Alexandre Lisboa made a great header on Mafamude's corner, it was just that SC Seixal's Luís Ribeiro managed to reach the ball for a save. Albertino Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SC Seixal getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Joaquim Almeida hit a great ball. Alexandre Lisboa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Albertino Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Mafamude booed when SC Seixal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Amorim in the 83rd minute of play. If Armando Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, SC Seixal's Luís Ferreira got a free kick in the 87th minute. Armando Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Ribeiro having to interfere. SC Seixal's Luís Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Amorim in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gonçalo Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mafamude's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonçalo Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 98 played minutes Mafamude got a freekick which was hit by Albertino Aleixo. SC Seixal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
