Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomás Baía started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Flávio Mafra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Flávio Mafra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alexadre DC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Mafra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Raposo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás Baía during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alexadre DC booed when Carquistão FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Baía didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germano Ferrão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonçalo Fernandes in the 13th minute. The nice shot from Gonçalo Fernandes in the 20thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Germano Ferrão had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 23rd minute of the match, Gonçalo Fernandes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Germano Ferrão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 25 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Germano Ferrão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Baía in the 28th minute of play forced Alexadre DC's goalkeeper Germano Ferrão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Baía in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Germano Ferrão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the game, Igor Guarda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alexadre DC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carquistão FC the free kick. After 34 played minutes Alexadre DC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Guarda. After having played for 35 minutes, Gonçalo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carquistão FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Alexadre DC's Amável Gueifão got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Tomás Baía had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flávio Mafra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Raul Mourinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Raposo having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Carquistão FC got a freekick which was hit by Diamantino Sanches. In the 59th minute, Flávio Mafra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Murilo Raposo, passed just outside the right post. When Igor Guarda was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Igor Guarda hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Fernandes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Germano Ferrão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 65th minute Diamantino Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Ferrão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonçalo Fernandes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano Ferrão having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Baía in the 67th minute of play forced Alexadre DC's goalkeeper Germano Ferrão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomás Baía sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano Ferrão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Baía in the 80th minute of play. Flávio Mafra's late challenge caught a Carquistão FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flávio Mafra helped the player get up and apologised. Flávio Mafra hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Gonçalo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germano Ferrão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Baía's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carquistão FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Alexadre DC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
