Cândido Bessa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Mota in the 19th minute of the match. Cláudio Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, SC Levrinho's Inácio Santarém got a free kick in the 28th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PORTAZUL A.C.'s zone, Cláudio Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Ramires came out of the goal and Cláudio Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Cláudio Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Levrinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Brás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, PORTAZUL A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Castro came free, but Abel Ramires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hugo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Ramires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Castro in the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Hugo Castro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel Ramires. The goal made the score 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Ricardo Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
