Eusébio Amaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Reis went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Henrique Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Moniz in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Ancede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Matias to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ancede's Eusébio Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Reis in the 25th minute of play. A collision led to Ancede getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jorge Martins hit a great ball. Marim's Henrique Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Moniz in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Reis in the 33rd minute of play forced Ancede's goalkeeper Eusébio Amaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Ancede's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Reis came free, but Eusébio Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Reis in the 38th minute of the match. Eusébio Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Maia in the 39th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquim Correia during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 48 minutes into the game, Marim's Nuno Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Amaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After 54 played minutes Marim got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Aguiar. In the 55th minute of the match Afonso Brás shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrique Guerreiro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Marim's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Moniz came free, but Henrique Guerreiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vicente Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marim's Nuno Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Eusébio Amaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Maia in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eusébio Amaro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vicente Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Guerreiro having to interfere. Henrique Guerreiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Moniz in the 76th minute of play. When Daniel Reis fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marim's protests and gave Daniel Reis a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Reis hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute Daniel Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Ancede's Eusébio Amaro got control of the ball when Carlos Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nuno Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Afonso Brás was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Marim players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
