With his leg Cristiano Neves managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Varadouro's Heitor Branco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 14 minutes into the game, one of PCM FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 15 minutes, Varadouro's Miguel Campos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cristiano Neves. Avelino Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Inácio Macedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Neves skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute, Pedro Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Luz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Pedro Luz struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cristiano Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varadouro. Aquilino Durães hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Bernardo Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PCM FC's Cristiano Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luz in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, PCM FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Heitor Branco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for PCM FC! The referee gave Varadouro a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Miguel Campos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PCM FC's Cristiano Neves. 2-0. Cristiano Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luz in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to PCM FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Lúcio Regalado hit a great ball. Heitor Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Neves having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Varadouro's Inácio Macedo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, PCM FC's Avelino Lopes tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Heitor Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Neves. PCM FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heitor Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 81 minutes, Eduardo Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Varadouro and the PCM FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Amílcar Coelho, was totally fooled by PCM FC's Avelino Lopes, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Laureano Azeredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílcar Coelho having to interfere. Amílcar Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Azeredo in the 97th minute of play.
