A collision led to BlueBananas getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Júlio Lopes hit a great ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind BlueBananas's goalkeeper Filipe Passos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Óscar Falcão took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Filipe Passos to make any attempt to save it. Júlio Lopes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Óscar Falcão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, BlueBananas's Filipe Passos got control of the ball when Óscar Falcão tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Veni Vidi Vici FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Norberto Oliveira hit a great ball.

Veni Vidi Vici FC's Óscar Falcão got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 60 played minutes BlueBananas got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Cruz. After 63 played minutes Veni Vidi Vici FC got a freekick which was hit by Éder Camacho. 65 minutes into the game, Daniel Cruz lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Osvaldo Gomes. 68 minutes into the match, Altino Regueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo Gomes. Veni Vidi Vici FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Altino Regueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 73 minutes, Tarcísio Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BlueBananas and the Veni Vidi Vici FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to BlueBananas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Tarcísio Linhares hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Veni Vidi Vici FC got a freekick which was hit by Pascoal Miranda. After having played for 89 minutes, Adelino Mourato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BlueBananas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adelino Mourato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st minute, José Portugal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel França in the 95th minute of play forced BlueBananas's goalkeeper Filipe Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BlueBananas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
