In the 3rd minute Plácido Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Sales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Sales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Campos in the 22nd minute of play forced Brigada ADM's goalkeeper André Sales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Brigada ADM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timóteo Valverde to maneuver through the defense. Jaime Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. André Sales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Assunção, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Timóteo Valverde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Vasques in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquim Júdice saved ALGARVE.F.C. from getting behind. Jorge Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Sales having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, ALGARVE.F.C.'s Samuel Campos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Sales made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jaime Vasques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Assunção was the one to do the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Jorge Assunção who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brigada ADM's André Sales was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Samuel Camposs short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got André Sales to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jorge Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. André Sales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, ALGARVE.F.C.'s André Sales threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorge Assunção, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 68 minutes into the match, Brigada ADM's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Assunção came free, but André Sales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Sales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Assunção, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. André Sales made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Samuel Campos sent off a good shot on target. Jaime Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Jorge Assunção left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALGARVE.F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jaime Vasques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Campos got free with André Sales in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ALGARVE.F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gervásio Freire in the 89th minute. After taking down the ball on ALGARVE.F.C.'s corner Gervásio Freire fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Sales quite easily take care of the ball. After 90 minutes, Gervásio Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALGARVE.F.C. and the Brigada ADM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, ALGARVE.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervásio Freire to maneuver through the defense. ALGARVE.F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
