Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorge Assunção made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute Bento Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Júdice saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Joaquim Júdice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Jorge Assunção got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jorge Soares fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cepelos FC's protests and gave Jorge Soares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ALGARVE.F.C. booed when Cepelos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Jorge Assunção reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hugo Matos. The goal made the score 1-0. Joaquim Júdice made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Torres in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALGARVE.F.C.'s goalkeeper Joaquim Júdice, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When António Costa came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cepelos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Costa couldn't finish the play. Plácido Medeiros hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, António Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cepelos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but António Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Júdice breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cepelos FC's Bento Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cepelos FC's zone, Samuel Campos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Matos came out of the goal and Samuel Campos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Raul Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Assunção took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquim Júdice. Joaquim Júdice dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bento Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Júdice made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when António Costa sent off a good shot on target. Cepelos FC's Hugo Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Assunção in the 61st minute of play. Jorge Assunção recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquim Júdice took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bento Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Jorge Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cepelos FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Carlos Assunção hit a great ball. Samuel Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. António Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Assunção in the 88th minute of play. If António Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ALGARVE.F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cepelos FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cepelos FC.
