Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jorge Assunção kicked off to start the match. Jorge Assunção's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vítor Vilela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Tomás Torcato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Joaquim Júdice tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind ALGARVE.F.C.'s goalkeeper Joaquim Júdice, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquim Júdice showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Esparteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Joaquim Valentim charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Valentim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Atlantis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Valentim to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ALGARVE.F.C. booed when Atlantis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. ALGARVE.F.C.'s Jorge Assunção got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute of the match Cândido Sousa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Vilela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Xavier Esparteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Vilela came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by ALGARVE.F.C.'s Jorge Assunção. But to his dismay, Jorge Assunção quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jorge Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Atlantis FC's Ivan Neiva got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Atlantis FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ALGARVE.F.C. were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xavier Esparteiro to make the kick off. Joaquim Júdice showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Esparteiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 57 minutes of play, ALGARVE.F.C.'s Samuel Campos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Vilela was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Samuel Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Plácido Medeiros fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ALGARVE.F.C.'s protests and gave Plácido Medeiros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, ALGARVE.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Plácido Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Queiroga was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Jorge Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Campos got free with Vítor Vilela in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Vilela having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Atlantis FC's goalkeeper Vítor Vilela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Samuel Campos. ALGARVE.F.C.'s Jorge Assunção got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ALGARVE.F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
