The referee ignored Os Massinhas's protests and gave Alexandrino Morais a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Adingeiro booed when Os Massinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandrino Morais didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adingeiro's Juvenal Fidalgo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Adingeiro from getting a goal against them. The Os Massinhas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
