Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorge Mendes got the match started through his kick off. Luís Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Daniel Abrantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Diamantino Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Leitoes FC's Luís Pires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juvenal Fidalgo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jorge Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Juvenal Fidalgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adingeiro's Juvenal Fidalgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mendes in the 20th minute of play. If Álvaro Bacelar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Matias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimas Belém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Leitoes FC got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Ferreira. Jorge Matias was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Daniel Abrantes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Abrantes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Daniel Abrantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luís Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Fidalgo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Mendes in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juvenal Fidalgo saved Adingeiro from getting behind. In the 48th minute, Adingeiro's Daniel Abrantes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jorge Matias. Jorge Matias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Abrantes to strike the kick off in the second half. Luís Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Juvenal Fidalgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Mendes in the 59th minute of play forced Adingeiro's goalkeeper Juvenal Fidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juvenal Fidalgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Mendes in the 61st minute of the match. Luís Pires received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juvenal Fidalgo came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Pires slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 67th minute. Adingeiro's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jorge Mendes 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-3. After some careless play in the Leitoes FC defense, Daniel Abrantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Matias. The Leitoes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Matias should have stopped the shot. When Adingeiro's Álvaro Bacelar in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leitoes FC's goalie prevented a goal. Adingeiro's Juvenal Fidalgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Mendes in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Adingeiro's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Pires came free, but Juvenal Fidalgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes Adingeiro got a freekick which was hit by Altino Galvão. The Adingeiro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Leitoes FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Leitoes FC.
