Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gaspar Azeredo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Noel Amaro hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lodoes FC booed when Celtic do Porto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes in the game Silvério Machado after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Herberto Teixeira. A very good opportunity. Herberto Teixeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Rebocho in the 22nd minute. Gaspar Azeredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Duarte Benevides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heitor Conde's late challenge caught a Lodoes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heitor Conde helped the player get up and apologised. 32 minutes into the match, Celtic do Porto's goalkeeper Herberto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Rebocho. Heitor Conde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Benevides having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Gaspar Azeredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Benevides was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Máximo Resende to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Paulo Rebocho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 53 minutes, Paulo Rebocho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lodoes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Rebocho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Máximo Resende put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Herberto Teixeira. A collision led to Lodoes FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Máximo Resende hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olavo Ponte got free with Duarte Benevides in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 77 minutes Celtic do Porto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvério Machado who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Silvério Machado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Celtic do Porto's Herberto Teixeira did a great save. Duarte Benevides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Azeredo in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Celtic do Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Rebocho came free, but Herberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celtic do Porto's Herberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máximo Resende in the 89th minute of play. Duarte Benevides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heitor Conde in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
