Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hélder Luz started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sume FC's goalkeeper Vasco Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Mateus Mansilha notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sume FC's Vasco Barros. Vasco Barros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teodoro Carmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvestre Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Luz in the 26th minute of play. Jorge Morais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Silvestre Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Mateus Mansilha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azelha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Mansilha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vasco Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Azelha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Luz came free, but Silvestre Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Azelha FC's Silvestre Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Setúbal in the 40th minute of play. Emanuel Setúbal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodoro Carmo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Sume FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Setúbal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateus Mansilha in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vasco Barros saved Sume FC from getting behind. Jorge Morais succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 61st playminute. 65 minutes into the match, Sume FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateus Mansilha came free, but Vasco Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Azelha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Luz came free, but Silvestre Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Mateus Mansilha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azelha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Mansilha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute Mateus Mansilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro Carmo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Vasco Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azelha FC. Jorge Morais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Abreu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. With a little luck, Azelha FC's Silvestre Abreu got control of the ball when Jorge Morais tried to sneak it across the goal line. Silvestre Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Azelha FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sume FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
