Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dércio Prestes kicked off to start the match. After 7 played minutes Ronaldo Varanda could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. 13 minutes into the match, SC Cadaval's goalkeeper David Morais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Teixeira. Ronaldo Varanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Morais having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Ronaldo Varanda managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ermidas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Varanda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Morais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Ermidas booed when SC Cadaval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Ricardo Lameirinhas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Cadaval's David Morais. David Morais was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Morais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Varanda's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Augusto Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Ermidas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Varanda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Augusto Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Ermidas's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Morais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute Ronaldo Varanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Morais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldo Varanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Morais having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, SC Cadaval's Geraldo Osório broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Augusto Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Morais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. SC Ermidas's Augusto Teixeira got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. David Morais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, one of SC Cadaval:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave SC Ermidas a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Teófilo Fidalgo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Cadaval's David Morais. 4-0.
