Daniel Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leal Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Bofinho FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. João Andrade hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Hélder Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Abrantes was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Leal Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Neto struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Rui Abrantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bofinho FC. The Ervosa FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bofinho FC were winning 0-1.

Leal Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Sá having to interfere. Ervosa FC's Tomás Espírito Santo pulled a muscle in his back after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Duarte Trindade charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duarte Trindade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bofinho FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Duarte Trindade hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes Ervosa FC got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Castro. Joaquim Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Daniel Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ervosa FC. With a little luck, Ervosa FC's Rui Abrantes got control of the ball when David Nogueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th match minute, Ervosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Varela to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bofinho FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
