Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Funduras FC's Viriato Coelho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Viriato Lameirinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Coelho in the 4th minute of play. Fábio Ferro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lourenço Galvão in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Viriato Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Lameirinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. darkaz team's attentive Lourenço Galvão managed to snatch the ball when Viriato Matos made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. After 15 played minutes darkaz team got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Fagundes. After 20 minutes of play, Funduras FC's Filipe Lima made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato Lameirinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Viriato Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Lameirinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Marcos Lages managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. darkaz team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Lages was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Mourinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. darkaz team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Funduras FC the free kick. In the 28th match minute, darkaz team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Mourinho to maneuver through the defense. Viriato Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Lameirinhas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, darkaz team's Carlos Carvalhal got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 32nd play minutes Marco Nascimento shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Viriato Lameirinhas and just under the crossbar into goal. 41 minutes into the match, darkaz team's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Coelho came free, but Viriato Lameirinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Marco Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Lameirinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Matos's late challenge caught a darkaz team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viriato Matos helped the player get up and apologised.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenço Galvão was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, darkaz team's Viriato Lameirinhas got control of the ball when Luís Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute Marco Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Lameirinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viriato Lameirinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Coelho in the 60th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Viriato Matos in the 66th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by darkaz team's Lourenço Galvão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Lima in the 71st minute of play forced darkaz team's goalkeeper Viriato Lameirinhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Viriato Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Lameirinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lourenço Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. darkaz team's Viriato Lameirinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Lima in the 75th minute of play. Viriato Lameirinhas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipe Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. darkaz team's Reinaldo Mourinho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Viriato Matos, made in the 79th minute of the game. Viriato Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viriato Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Funduras FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Viriato Coelho hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Funduras FC's Marco Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Viriato Lameirinhas. Viriato Lameirinhas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. The Funduras FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
